Like the Incandescent Lamp

This collection was inspired by the design of Islamic manuscripts featuring depictions of ancient astronomical instruments, most notably the astrolabe, a star scale and astronomers' clock from the Golden Age. This circular instrument features five copper plates and a perforated face topped with a hanging balcony.
